If, for any reason, travelling on one of the scheduled safaris doesn’t suit you, then planning a customized itinerary might be the best option.
I frequently travel with small groups of guests on itineraries that we have chosen together.
Choosing to work in this way allows me to help focus the trip on exactly whatever it is that you are most interested in. We select camps at the best time of year. This can mean a trip where we visit areas to photograph specific animals, for example leopards, or it could be a visit to a destination where there are special wildlife happenings, like the sardine run, for example.
Depending on the size of the group, doing a customized safari can also mean more time available for individual instruction, both in the field and on the computer when it comes to image processing techniques.
It also means that you can travel when you are able to, and not have to fit into other schedules.
I typically will work with you in deciding where, when and how to go when planning the itinerary. I can work with your existing travel agent or recommend a specialist agency if you don’t have an existing travel agent.
