The 7Dmk2 has a focus point array of 65 points, that cover a high percentage of the frame. It also allows the user to choose between seven different groupings or combinations of its 65 point autofocus system. In the video the function of each of the seven focus point options is clearly described, and referenced to the others. I also share my own preferences and the reasoning behind my choices. Having so many focus point grouping options means that almost every users preference or autofocus scenario will be covered by the camera.

Hi Grant,
Great explanations with tips for practical usage in the field – very useful. I wish I had this information a while ago , it would have saved a lot of trial and error.

Hi Dave
I would have had it done sooner if I wasn’t on out taking picturesi so much, like yourself :-). Last year was not a good one for writing 🙂
Anyway, thanks for the feedback and support always.
Cheers
